Some great remedies for constipation involve the consumption of fruit. Be careful to buy only organic fruit and eat them as soon as you can, because in time, they lose enzymes and nutrients.

Apricots

Apricots are rich in fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C, potassium and other minerals. You may use apricots with great success as a constipation remedy as this fruit is known for its laxative effect. Apricots can be found especially during the summer, but you can also eat them dried while in winter. Bananas

Cantaloupe

Cherries

Cherries are an incredible fruit. They contain a lot of vitamins and minerals, like B-1, B-2, folic acid and niacin, as well as potassium and fiber. By consuming cherries, you can be more successful in neutralizing the body acid. They also have a laxative effect and they can start peristaltic action.

Cherries are good whether you like to eat them fresh or as juice. Fresh fruit can be found only during the summer, but you can buy juice any time of the year. They represent a good solution for preventing constipation.



You can also find dried cherries but this product tends to be pretty expensive. Use them in any form you like, as the nutritional properties of this fruit are great.
